My second novel now has 40 reviews on Amazon.com, which seems like a milestone, of sorts. The average rating is 4.5 stars. (It would be 4.6 except for a 1-star review from a hater who lowered her rating to spite me rather than correct errors in her original review, like getting the main character’s name wrong.) Anyway, here’s the the latest review of Brambleman on its Amazon page, by ferri: Amazingly good! Through sales and giveaways the past three weeks, we’ve put 4,500 copies of Brambleman into the hands of readers. (The giveawys ended a week ago, but the 99 cent special continues through March 31.) One result of this promotional surge has been an increase in reviews–and a bump in the book’s ratings, which were already high. Six reviews have been posted since the promotion began: five five-star ratings and one four-star review.
