Georgia solar-powered PSC candidate John Noel is a hard-core Democrat

Georgia Public Service Commission candidate John Noel is a longtime Democrat. He was elected to the General Assembly as a Democrat in 2002. He’s been involved in Democratic politics and voted in Democratic primaries and runoffs, not to mention general, special, and Atlanta city elections. If there was an election, he’d show up and vote. Public records show this. Not only did he attend the 2016 Democratic Convention, but he’s attended every Democratic convention since 1992, when he was an intern for the Clinton/Gore campaign. Those are some serious bona fides.

UPDATE: PSC candidate John Noel gets endorsements; Lindy Miller faces challenge to her voter eligibility

Former Georgia State Rep. He also criticizes the PSC for not listening to its own staff when making decisions. He should bring both intelligence, insight and energy to this position, and gets our endorsement.” Athens for Everyone: “Noel is running a serious and energetic campaign. He…

UPDATE: Lindy Miller’s voter registration address is no longer a manhole cover

Yet another update: On Friday, Lindy Miller posted a picture of herself with her family at the Decatur early voting station. If she didn’t vote on a provisional ballot, then it would appear that DeKalb’s Board of Elections staff has already decided in her favor in the challenge case–although the BOE director told me these cases are only decided by the full panel. If the mismatch on addresses was a clerical error, then the board should make quick work of dismissing the challenge May 29, and if so, unfortunate that it took four years to clear up. 3rd Update: New post on this issue. 2nd Update: Maner says he isn’t withdrawing his challenge.  Update: Lindy Miller’s MVP data with the Georgia Secretary…
