Rodney King, famous victim of Los Angeles police brutality in 1991 has died, apparently drowning in a swimming pool. He was 47. His beating by officers was videorecorded, and when police were acquitted of charges against them in the case, riots erupted. King publicly called for peace, asking, “Can’t we all just get along?” That issue remains in doubt.
