Dear Ossoff Volunteers: Let’s do one last thing to Flip the Sixth! We need people to work the street in the southeast corner of #GA06 District Monday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 18. Why? Because this is the Bluest section of #GA06. Source: NY Times (@Nate_Cohn) And because the area east of I-85severely undervoted in Early Voting becausethere was no convenient polling place. Tucker Rec Center never opened for EV. Sad! Source: NY Times (@Nate_Cohn) We need to do everything we can to get out the vote in addition to canvassing, so I’m working to coordinate precinct-level street corner sign wavers Monday and Tuesday in these precincts: Midvale Road Midvale Elementary…

An Evening with Jon Ossoff
Judy and I met Jon Ossoff this evening at a Meet and Greet in the Northlake area of DeKalb County. The Washington Post sent a photographer as well, but we’ll have to wait and see how well his photos of me turned out. Jon is the front runner in the special election to replace Tom Price. He’s an impressive candidate with a positive message that should resonate in Georgia’s Sixth District. He is nothing like the person the GOP SuperPac hate ads depict. We’re both impressed. I’ve volunteered to put up yard signs for him—if they’d only quit running out of signs! BTW, if you live in DeKalb County or North Fulton, the Ossoff campaign is holding street rallies tomorrow (Saturday, April…
Best Campaign slogan, 2020
SCUSE ME! If the 25th Amendment is enacted cabinet members turns on each in a Caesarian blodfest in a month or so, we could go down the order of succession to No. 9, the ACTING Secretary of Agriculture, Michael Scuse. He could run for president in 2020 with the best campaign slogan ever. Needs crucial Steve Martin endorsement.
Letter to President Steve Bannon
February 7, 2017 President Steve Bannon The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington, DC 20500 Dear President Bannon, Congratulations! How time flies! It seems like just yesterday you were promoting fake news, alternative facts, and white nationalism as the boss man of Breitbart. Now, look at you! Promoting fake news, alterative facts, and white nationalism from inside the Oval Office. Fool enough people enough of the time and there you go. Sure, Hillary won the popular vote and Donald Trump, though he came up nearly 3,000,000 votes short, won the majority of electoral votes. But none of that matters! Because you get to slip Executive Orders onto the desk of a man who detests reading and learning and stuff like that.…
What GOP senator has to say about Sally Yates
Acting Attorney General Sally Yates was fired by President Donald Trump Monday night after she refused to defend his Executive Order on Immigration, which has led to chaos and confusion along with massive protests, widespread condemnation, and swift legal challenges. Almost unnoticed in the furor, the Trump Administration also abruptly removed Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Daniel Ragsdale from his post. Lest some attempt to paint Sally Yates as a partisan hack, here are Sen. Johnny Isakson’s (R-GA) floor remarks during her confirmation as Deputy Attorney General (h/t Stacey Godfrey Evans): “Sally Quillian Yates is a great human being that I have known for almost 40 years. … For 25 years, she has been the lead prosecutor in the northern district…
Letter to Donald Trump: Release Your Returns!
January 13, 2017 Donald J. Trump The Trump Organization 725 Fifth Avenue New York, New York 10022 RE: THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CARE ABOUT YOUR TAX RETURNS Dear President-Elect Trump: During your recent (and rare) news conference, you ridiculed the idea of making your tax returns public, something you had promised to do during the presidential campaign. You claimed “the only one that cares about my tax returns are the reporters, okay? They’re the only ones.” WRONG! Voters care very much because we need to understand the nature of your business organization and its potential effects on public policy, especially in areas of real estate holdings and dealings, foreign policy and trade, Wall Street relationships, and possible conflicts of interest, to name a…
