Pitts, who is running for re-election, pledged cooperation and support for John on the campaign trail. “John gets it,” said Moore, succinctly summing up his knowledge of energy and environmental policy, as well as what it takes to be a leader. In its filing Friday, the PSC staff “concludes that completion of the (Vogtle) Project is no longer economic … given the additional costs and schedule delays.” The “economic benefit” of finishing the project would be negative $1.6 billion, according…
