Former Sen. Max Cleland’s Memorial Day message supports Teresa Tomlinson’s “proven track record of caring for veterans”

Cleland, a wounded Vietnam veteran, former Georgia Secretary of State, and U.S. Senator is one of Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate Teresa Tomlinson’s top endorsers. (She has many.) Tomlinson, the former mayor of Columbus, faces six Democrats in the June 9 Democratic primary. The winner will face GOP incumbent David Perdue Nov. 3.  This message is especially poignant, coming today from him. I’m glad I’ve had the chance to meet and talk with Sen. She’s made a strong case that she’s the candidate to beat Sen. David Perdue, and last weekend, she came out fighting, with an All Points Bulletin that warned of bad consequences for Democrats if Jon Ossoff is the nominee instead of her.
