Alan was irritated that none of the stores in that part of the town were open on Sunday. He told me his story and then headed toward the Save-a-Lot. That station is humbly furnished, but the music was as advertised, with the Reverend DJ calling out praise to accompany each song.. Check out the road trip post. Great days to be out with the people in Georgia.
Statesboro GA: John @NoelforPSC @ 88.5 WSLT, home of “Gospel Like Gospel Is Supposed to Sound.” I was photographing the old peanut mill when Alan came by & said he worked there til the day they gave him a 100-ft ladder and told him to fix the top window. That was a long time ago pic.twitter.com/Tmcc3K38JW
