Photo: ESPN Jonathan Grant @Brambleman The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers to win this year’s Super Bowl. They had to come back from ten points down to do it. This makes me happy. I grew up in western Missouri and was a huge fan as a kid. Their victory against the Minnesota Vikings in 1970 was the greatest game ever played—until the UGA Bulldogs won the national championship on January 1, 1981. The Chiefs went through a 50-year drought before their next Super Bowl appearance. So, even sweeter. I think I hand’ed the victory well. Nothing against the 49ers. It was a good game. You know who didn’t? Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who is quickly proving she’s not good…

Flipping Georgia: Democrat Teresa Tomlinson’s plan to beat David Perdue takes gumption
By Jonathan Grant @Brambleman First of all, let’s not forget the possibilities here. Georgia’s status as a 2020 presidential battleground and its two Senate races make it arguably the most crucial state on the electoral map. Both seats are in play, and both incumbents are vulnerable. Kelly Loeffler goes deplorable early and often Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who has spent her short time in office pledging loyalty to all things Trump and ignoring evidence in the president’s impeachment trial, still doesn’t know if she’ll draw major GOP opposition in the November jungle primary. The fact that she furiously trying to colled MAGA creditss shows she’s scared. It’s working, though. She got a retweet from the president, althoughshe had to RT another senator tweeting…
Georgia’s new Sen. Kelly Loeffler doesn’t know what she’s talking about, but that won’t stop her
Note: I’m collecting lies for a Georgia edition of Lies and the Lying Liars who Lie them. Send them to me! Especially valuable: GOP mailers, like this smear on Rep. Josh McLaurin that got the Georgia Republican party sued for libel. By Jonathan Grant @Brambleman Recently, Rep. Doug Collins said Democrats were in love with terrorists and was forced to apologize for his wrongful nonsense. Impeached for Life President Trump, never one to miss a chance to go even lower—and who never apologizes—followed that up by retweeting a picture of Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dressed in Iranian garb by an Iranian flag. That’s some serious third-grade level taunting. Trump was roundly condemned, but #MAGA cheered him on,…
Impeachment, Georgia Edition
By Jonathan Grant @Brambleman Teresa Tomlinson has released a video on impeachment. It’s worth noting that not only was she the first candidate to come out against Trump sycophant David Perdue, but she was also the first to speak out publicly on impeachment–in 2018, before her announcement, when she was still mayor of Columbus. She’s also said her belief in the need for Congress to investigate of President Trump’s wrongful activities dates back to his strange support of a blockade of U.S. ally Qatar in 2017. Calling for impeachment may seem like a no-brainer and not particularly unusual for a Democratic candidate for federal office, but many were reluctant to come on board. For her stance, Tomlinson earned praise as “The…
Georgians who think Trump should have been impeached years ago may have their candidate: Teresa Tomlinson

Teresa Tomlinson calls for Sen. Loeffler’s recusal in Trump impeachment trial
Sen, Kelly Loeffler joined PSC member Jason Shaw in his Georgia Power rate hike victory tour Or, how can someone so rich be so owned? By Jonathan Grant @Brambleman Freshly sworn-in Sen. Kelly Loeffler, hand-picked by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp to replace retiring Sen. Johnny Isakson, has, under terms of service, sworn her undying loyalty to Trump. She seems to have all her talking points—I mean beliefs—handed to her as part of the process. In a recent interview, Democratic Senatorial candidate Teresa Tomlinson, running against now-senior Sen. David Perdue, didn’t talk about Loeffler’s appointment, and complimented her past good works, but noted, “To the extent that she’s said she’s prejudged the circumstances, she shouldn’t serve on this impeachment trial.” Spoiler alert: Loeffler…
