Update: Trump backers denounce Deep State conspiracy after rally buses cancelled for nonpayment

UPDATE: Trump supporters denounce Deep State Conspiracy after “Women for America First” DC rally buses (including one from Atlanta) cancelled for nonpayment.  From The Daily Beast: A couple hundred Donald Trump fans rallied outside Congress on Thursday for the “March for Trump,” an event meant to oppose House Democrats’ impeachment investigation. According to organizers, though, there would have been hundreds more people shouting “stop the coup” in Washington’s streets if not for a liberal plot against their buses. That’s because, as would-be rally attendees gathered across the East Coast for the US Coachways buses that the organizer had promised would take them to Washington, those buses never showed. The no-shows provoked a wave of anger, accusations that the “deep state” had colluded to…

Sign up here Update: I irritate some Trumpers during the rally face-off By Jonathan Grant @Brambleman About 100 Pro-Trump protesters showed up last week at Rep. She’s said she’ll make a decision based on the evidence. Meanwhile, evidence of the president’s corruption piles up, with more testimony coming this week that President Trump’s aides see as “problematic.”  There will be more evidence, with or without obstruction.…

GOP incumbent stinks so bad, Tea Party leader endorses Democrat in Georgia PSC runoff

Early voting is underway in Georgia’s statewide runoffs for Secretary of State and Public Service Commission Post 3. Both agencies have suffered from a decade of misrule. It’s our last chance to restore some balance to state government. It’s so out of whack that even conservatives and Libertarians supporting Democrats in these races. The Latest: This comes on the heels of Libertarian PSC candidate Ryan Graham’s announcement that he’s voting for Democrat Lindy Miller, as well. In announcing her decision, Debbie Dooley notes the recent revelation that Georgia Power allies are pumping $750,000 into the race to protect their investment in a bought-off commissioner. Mueller drops indictment naming 12 Russian military intelligence officers in conspiracy against U.S.

On the eve of Trump’s visit to Putin, Mueller drops a conspiracy indictment against a dozen Russian military officers (aka witches) for doing what they did in 2016. “Congressional candidate” mentioned, and someone who may be Roger Stone Read it: https://bit.ly/2ustufe Read more from Politico "…on or about July 27, 2016, the Conspirators attempted after hours to spearphish for the first time email accounts at a domain … used by Clinton's personal office." https://t.co/CVxOTdX6Vn Here's what Trump said on July 27, 2016. Sen. David Perdue gets owned on Twitter

Again, actually. Or usually. Because David Perdue is bad at twitter, which is to be expected, since his message stinks. Sure, it’s probably some clueless staff member pumping out the swamp bilge we’ve come to expect from the junior senator from Georgia’s account. They’re often horrible, hypocritical and sycophantic to President Trump, because, after all Perdue is POTUS’s favorite senator, and you’ve got to be excruciatingly bad to earn that title. Usually Perdue’s tweets are hard ratio’d  because people really, really don’t like him and his tweets are stupid. While Sen. Johnny Isakson has earned a great deal of goodwill from people in his home state (he’s actually held town halls recently and takes live questions from voters in his tele-Town Halls),…

Fake Bulldog fan Michael Williams running for Georgia governor

So, this happened today. Georgia Senator Michael Williams decided to go all Bulldog during the opening day of the Georgia General Assembly, which happens not to be the big deal in Atlanta today. Not compared to the national college football championship going on tonight between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama’s Crimson Tide. (Disclosure: I’m a UGA alum. Go Dawgs!) Anyway, Georgia State Senator, MAGA gubernatorial candidate and militia fanboy Michael Williams decided to use the occasion to take a poke at one of his rivals, alleged frontrunner and Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, who once played football at Georgia Southern. (By the way, Williams, and Georgia’s incomparably incomepetent and hyperpartisan Secretary of State, Brian Kemp, are probably the most unpalatable general election candidates…
